Artist description:
In contemporary society, far-right groups have intensified the vilification of marginalized communities, employing derogatory rhetoric, stereotypes and tropes to fortify their in-group cohesion.
This artwork is a commentary on the more recent uptick in hate speech and tropes targeting the LGBTQ community. It’s a very old game, designed to marginalize and devalue the lives of its members and create a sense of loathing, fear and hate.
