Artist description:
This artwork, featuring a photograph of a human hatched from an egg, is about the fragility of life and the dangers and challenges faced during the journey. We see the use of remnants from an antique weight scale, suggesting the need for a balanced life, as well as the use of fishing line in the form of a sail suggesting a boat sailing through time.
